I would like to thank you again for such a wonderful day yesterday...
the venue was probably the best overall I've been to for scenerey,
wildlife, tranquillity and fish quality. Your tuition was first
class... Your company was excellent too... The whole day was
a beautifully relaxed lazy summers day meandering along in pursuit
of beautiful fish. I learnt some new techniques for the rivers
and also some more entomology, which is always useful.

I had a days fly fishing tuition with Roger... on the River
Wharfe at Bolton Abbey. Roger is an excellent instructor...
was keen to ensure that I got what I wanted out of the day...
It was only the following day that I realised Roger had given
my tackle and me a very subtle "once over". Roger
has a way of exploring how you would do something and then refining
that, if required, rather than being prescriptive.
I would recommend Roger to new anglers or those who wish to
improve. Not only is the teaching, advice and guidance excellent,
but Roger is good company as well.

spent in your company... whilst being totally new to the art
of fly fishing, the time which we spent with you was most memorable
and we thank you for your patience and the manner in which you
were able to cope with two most enthusiastic amateurs.
The fly-fishing course was a present... and will be long remembered
as one of the happiest weekends of my life.

... appreciated the solid advice you gave us on kit - there's
a bewildering amount of it out there and quite frankly I wouldn't

I write to congratulate yourselves on the excellent course
I have just completed, whilst it is an unusual topic… the
group numbers remained stable. Of all the night school courses
I have completed I must say our tutor, Roger Beck, was more
than helpful and always kept the classes very interested and
to this end he must be congratulated. It is a topic I will certainly
tell my friends to look for if it runs again.
